On a Rainless Halloween

It’s Halloween night

heavy storm clouds billowing

and the moon is out

many lanterns have been lit

and jack-o-lanterns left out.

With painted faces

children dart from house to house

collecting candy,

chocolate, homemade cookies and

memories of Halloween.
